Rich to intense maltiness. All malts used in the grist were 100% Continental in nature e.g. Simpson’s Golden Promise, Belgian Biscuit, and Belgian Special B. Semi-dry finish accentuated by a slight alcohol burn on the tongue which is balanced out by the caramel notes overtly present. A true Winter-warmer. Copious amounts of Chinook and Evergreen hops were used for the bittering addition which lingers into flavors of pine and resin. No other hop additions were used so as to not interfere with the traditional malty characteristics representative of the style.

3/31/23 Draft at Bell Springs Winery and Brewery.
Nice copper color.
Not overly sweet, and didn't "feel" to strong at 8%.
Fairly one dimensional.
