Dense, near-beige head. Dark brown color where light only passes on the extreme edge of the glass. Less lacing than I expected. It comes in the form of larger spots.
Deep unsweetened cocoa aroma. Light alcohol with a touch of iron smell.
Dark chocolate start. Thinner body with an elevated effervescence. There’s a soured berry flavor that peaks in the swallow and lingers longest in the aftertaste. I pickup blackberry and sour cherry in the taste. The finish is dry almost ashen.
