Brown color with light shining through easily. Appears clear. Lasting beige head which leaves a few wider streaks.
It smells sweet for a Brown Ale, closer to a Bock. Some caramel and light chocolate.
The beer is sweet but not nearly as sweet as the smell. Here there's more cocoa (semisweet) and a touch of what I describe as coffee grounds. Lightly hopped. Fuller bodied than most Browns with a fine level of carbonation.
