I’ve stopped in there a couple times to enjoy lunch and a few beers. The brewery itself is in this idealistic resort setting that is fairly impressive.
Both the beer and food are very enjoyable. The vibe is as well, depending on what you are looking for.
I look forward to staying there some weekend. Highly recommended.

Lodged there for an extended summer weekend and had 3 days to sample the beer. The servers were good but they were understaffed at night. The food was great I enjoyed both breakfasts and the 2 German style dinners consumed while there. I spent time at their tap room, Rathskeller and pool bar and liked the vibe of them all. They only had 8 of their own on tap but also had 2 German imports on tap with another 6 Germans bottled as well as various domestics and a few craft selections in bottles or cans. I thought the quality of the beers I tried was solid with the exception of their Unky Dunky Dunkel Weisse which was sour and seemed to be infected. Cool place to check out if you're in the area, but to be clear this is a resort lodge with a small brewery, not a stand alone brewery.

This is a very large place and no sign to the beer part. There is a Rathskeller here for beer only, but it was not open when i visited. I went into the bar in the main inn lobby and was able to get a flight, but I felt way out of place. This is fancy. I don't think my T-shirt was cutting it. But the service was good, and they had their flagships on.

This is clearly a really opportune location, that is most definitely a choice place to lodge at. It is a complex of a low end luxury sort, which is a good thing, as it's not too hoidy-toidy. Nice modern bar and dining with much in the way of windowed natural lighting. There is a swimming pool right on the edge of the cliff over looking the Potomac river, facing Maryland. Sat out on the patio which is betwixt the bar and the pool. The setting is really quite nice. The beers that they brew are quite mediocre but they have some German beers on tap, including Ayinger, so all is well.

V: A great location with lots of scenery. The Inn is perched on a cliff overlooking the Potomac River, right in the mountains, so it's exceptionally beautiful. The brewpub is attached to the existing restaurant (a long-standing fine dining establishment) and has a laid back (but not necessarily informal) vibe. A cool spot.

Q: Everything is made on premises, so there's a high level of quality; nothing stale to be had.

S: Extremely friendly service, though I never asked any beer-related questions.

S: A decent selection, with four in-house beers and a handful of foreign beers (English and German). There are a couple of APAs, IPAs, and stouts. No overly exotic styles, but a decent selection, especially considering they've only been brewing beers since January of 2019.
