Rating as a mixed culture beer as that's how it's described on the Amory's Tomb website. A bit of a snowglobe pour, probably my fault. Herbaceous and flight funk and acid on the aroma. Pineapple dovetails nicely with the brett in flavor. Pretty nicely balanced beer considering how much is going on. Alcohol is totally hidden and the carbonation/body/tartness are all really well balanced.

Gin barrel aged Belgian strong with pineapple and vanilla
Pours a light fizzy head, little retention bit of lacing, hazy with lots of sediment tan color
Nose smells more like a sour, tart fruit, acidic sour lemony with some pineapple, a hint of gin spice, and a little vanilla spice, a bit of buttery oak
Taste brings a bunch of pineapple up front as well as smooth creamy vanilla, tart and acidic with some sour lemony characters, little buttery oak, light gin spice, a little flemmy acidity
Mouth is med bod, flemmy acidity, med fizzy carb
Overall it would be decent for a sour but they called this a Belgian strong so its far from that and I have to call it infected, pineapple was good, vanilla was decent, gin barrel didn't bring much, but not a Belgian strong
