No can date
Pours a small fizzy off-white head with med retention, decent lacing, hazy deep mahogany color
Nose sweet candy malt, caramel, toffee, fruity, candy apple, sweet dates, candy icing, a bit of baking spices, figgy pudding, a bit toasted biscuity, touch of perfumey alcohol
Taste semi sweet, biscuity toffee, some caramel, candy apple, more malt-derived fruity esters, figs, dates, a little plum, fruit cake with some icing, a bit of spices, then some toasted notes, toasted biscuits mild spicy hop, lingering spicy hop bitterness, a little smooth perfumey alcohol
Mouth is fuller bod, hint of warming alcohol, lower but OK carb
Overall not bad, typical American style barleywine, not too complex or interesting but get's the job done

New beer from the best brewery in Maynard
Brewers notes: made with blue ox malt house pale, vyenna and Munich malts, valley malt chocolate rye, east Kent holding hops . In collaboration with box cutter facelift
Pours a dark brown liquid with numerous micro carbonation streams and a one finger taupe foam cap that quickly dissipates, few lacings
Aroma is figs, raisins
Taste~ the taste is fig, dark malts, chocolate, rye , muddy earth
Earthy hop bitterness that lingers
Like barleywines but this is not one that I am appreciating all that much
