Appearance: Pours a slightly hazed, purplish amber with a short-lived pinkish white head that leaves no surface cap and only a hint of a collar.
Aroma: Notes of berry, dried fruit and grainy wheat with significant lactic acid in the nostrils.
Taste: Notes of blueberry and generically fruity, wheat and cereal. Lactic sourness is muted until the finish where it blossoms in the aftertaste. It really kind of sneaks up on you even though you're expecting it. But with that said it's of a much lower intensity than expected for the style. It's also sweeter than expected.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Crisp and smooth with low astringency for what it's supposed to be.

12 ounce can - $2.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a lightly clouded, darkish purple-pink body with a brief, smallish, white-pink head.
Smell: Berry-scented aroma atop creamy cream-of-wheat with a rich lactic coating.
Taste: Sweetish, undeniably lactic with medium degrees of smooth malted wheat. With its flavor, there is a fair juxtaposition of the guava and blueberry. It's a reasonably pleasant combo, as the lush, citrusy guava quality cuts the berry taste. Cushioned, creamy wheat infused with lacto topped off with an ample amount of fruit purees.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: It'll do.
