Appearance: Slightly hazy, light yellow. Fluffy white head with great retention. Medium rising bubbles
Aroma: bread flower, very light floral hoppiness
Flavor & Aftertaste: Bread flower, dry with a touch of sweetness at the end. Restrained bitterness
Mouthfeel: Medum to high carbonation. Light and thin. Drying. Short finish.
Overall: Reviewing versus other Light Lagers. I appreciate the brewery's effort here to provide a lighter, drinkable option. Visually, it's not attractive: very thin, hazy, pale light yellow. It does produce and hold a nice fluffy white head - has that going for it. Has a little more flavor and character than most macro light beers. But it's still overly light and watered down tasting. Mouthfeel is light with high carbonation. Does exhibit some bread flour, cracker like malt flavor with a very light hoppy note. Not overly sweet. Doesn't taste bad at all, just lacks character, flavor and aroma that some others provide (for ex. Arches Lloyd's Light would still be my go-to local choice in this category). This beer could definitely be improved on.
