Cold Conditions starts with Weyermann Eraclea malt grown off the Italian Adriatic coast, known for its crisp, aromatic, and honey-like qualities.
German Magnum and Huell Melon hops provide a German-styled, firm backbone, with a subtly-sweet honeydew finish.
We let this one carbonate itself through the process of spunding, for a softer, smaller bubble carbonation. Then, it spent two months to condition in a horizontal lager tank. Now, it’s in a vertical can (or keg) to enjoy for a limited time!

16 ounce can - $4.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
PKG ON 01 13 26.
Appearance: Pours a near clear body, gold in color, with a slim, white head.
Smell: A dry, grainy quality to the nose with hints of water crackers. Far less expressive than hoped for, the hops offer perfumy accents of flower stems.
Taste: Again, it's grainy, crackery with near nil sweetness and again the hops come up far short, just offering little hits of florals, perfumy and the merest fruity berry hint. Lightly bitter. Finishes about as dry as it started.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Reading the description on the side of the can, it looks good on paper, but... if looking for a local pils, it's certainly no Halfway Crooks or Round Trip.
