It doesn’t look like it, but legally it is still a beer! Our new Yummy is pushing the boundaries again a bit further: this creamy, thick, offensively purple beer-smoothie combines absurd amounts of blueberry and raspberry puree with the darkest maple syrup we could find, topped with some extra chocolate. It drinks way too easy for the ABV, so be careful. We tried that for you.

Pours an opaque, dark purple coloration, with a medium, creamy, pink head. Smell is dominated by tart berries, with notes of raspberry and blueberry, as well as hints of chocolate and maple syrup. Taste is a great balance of tart berries, with notes of raspberry and blueberry and sweet maple syrup, with hints of white chocolate as well. Finishes sweet and sour, with some berries and maple syrup lingering in the aftertaste. Full mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I was little worried about this, to be honest, but it came as a very positive surprise to me, probably my favorite from this brewery so far. It's not overly sweet, with the tart berries dominating here, although the maple syrup makes a distinct impression as well, rounded out by white chocolate. The balance of sweet and sour notes really makes this work, while it features a great, fluffy mouthfeel as well, with the ABV not being noticeable at all either.
