Our last Yummy was gone sooner than we expected, so we promptly got to brewing another one. Malted barley and wheat, flaked wheat and lactose with an overdose of vanilla yet again create the base for what doesn’t really feel like a beer. That is mostly due to the fact that raspberries and blackberries make up almost half of the volume. Decadently thick, pleasantly sweet and smoothly thick with a refreshing tart finish, this is exactly what people came to expect from the liquid dessert for adults called Yummy.

Copenhagen 14/120 2023. 50 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Dark red can with circular text and a yellow flower ti lighten things up.
Pours opaque, murky dark burgundy with a creamy pink head. Stable. Settles as a 4 cm thick crown of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Massive lacing. Looks more like a muddy smoothie than a beer.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, fruity ans slightly sugared odor. A bit of tart fruit peeing in. Sweet forest berries, white sugar and vanilla. Strawberry milkshake.
Low carbonation. Thick, creamy, viscous, soft, smooth and flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet and reminding me of a fruit Milkshake. Lingers for a while, Finish soft and fruity.
Smooth and creamy fruit jam.
