Copenhagen 14/9 2021. 50 cl can from Ølkassen web-shop. The can looks more like a barrel of pink paint than a beer can with numbers for tone and hop types.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - slightly dirty yellow with a big white head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruits mingling with a more intense citric scent. Pineapple and mango. Malty touch of cardboard. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and citric. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Nice and intense NEIPA. I will very much appreciate this over a jug of pink paint.
