A dark and rich barrel aged Barleywine with strong barrel character. It’s medium full bodied with fairly low carbonation and a smooth creamy mouthful. Hints of bitterness on the finish but you get tons of dark fruit, prune, raisin, vinous notes, assertive but welcome alcohol. Very well done. It’s got a little lip smacking stickiness and a long warming finish.
