A kettle sour, sharp and fizzy mouthfeel, sour and tart up front with a crisp blackberry finish. Saaz Hops and Blackberry Puree.

one of their more popular beers and definitely the better of the two i had at their caldwell location recently. its got some pink hue to the color but its a little muted by the haze it has, short off white head fading fast, doesnt look super refined but the blackberry color is there. the aroma is slightly cheesy on the souring but not bad, the lacto is still citrusy and bright and it seems to make the berries pop, summery and a little sweet, rather authentic, not much grain beneath the fruit, just a bit of noble hops and attendant bitterness. the flavor is fruit driven but its not overly jammy or anything and the berries dont come through as sweet as they smell, they are also highlighted by the lemony sourness, which is only a little unclean to me in the flavor. its really simple beer, very little from the grain and a light body, pretty dry for being fruity, and lightly hopped at the end which i think makes it more dynamic, especially in the absence of more malt. decent carbonation and quite summery overall, not great on the souring, but the rest of it is solid and its not too acidic to be drinkable which is smart. these guys have sort of always been just okay for me...

12oz can, snifter. Reddish/purple appearance with a pink-ish foam head. Notes of sour berries and sweeter undertones on the nose, not puckering or mouth-watering, more subtle. The blackberry is definitely present and there is a mild sour but this seems more like a fruit beer than a kettle sour. Enjoyable, but lacks a punch either way (sour or sweet), and a touch watery. Easy to drink though.

Taster at the brewery. Pretty weak throughout, more like fruit juice Ruby tinged pour, no aroma. Mild berry jam flavors, and barely enough pucker . Cranberry juice has more tartness
