Appearance: A bubble show builds a dense, two finger head perched above the coffee colored liquid; excellent retention and copious lacing
Smell: Roasted malt, baking chocolate and a fruity coffee aspect
Taste: Roasted chocolate malt forward with a fruity aspect building; some coffee elements but the fruity flavors dominate the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; a bit creamy
Overall: The fruity aspect of this beer is surprising for a dry stout; I enjoyed somewhat but found it was not what I was expecting for the style
Thanks, JohnGalt1, for the opportunity
