Pours an amber a la Bass with a quickly dissapating white head. Nothing over the top here, seemed to be more of an English style pale with strong bittering hop notes on the finish. Mildly sweet and easy drinkability, will pair nicely and not get in the way of most of the food on the menu. Solid brew.

Pours nice and frothy in that inimitable cask conditioned way. Orangey amber. Big hoppy aroma, with a bit of citrus and good malty backbone. Flavor is clean and sharp. Nice IPA. Plenty of body, well balanced, slightly estery, adding a grapefruit flavor. Hops are just right. Nice beer. My idea of a proper IPA.

This was an average beer. It is an IPA with a very low level of hops from what I can tell. The appearence also seemed a little lighter than usual - almost blonde. The smell was hoppy, but it never seemed to reach the flavor of the beer.
