It isn't hazy!!! Solid WCIPA. Goes down easy with a lovely bitterness. Rather fluffy on the tongue and going down. Slight sweet at the tail end. Quite tasty.

Pours medium golden amber with a fine, two finger white head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel and biscuit malt, citrus and piney hops, slight orange, lightly floral. Flavor of biscuit and pale malt, citrus and grassy hops, grapefruit, faint tropical fruit, lemon. Pine develops into a lighter bodied finish with slightly astringent hop bitterness. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A rather old fashioned tasting IPA, clearly leaning to the North West style with citrus and pine dominating. Malt is quiet and unassuming, but hops are bright and herbal. There is a light starkness of the piney hops in the finish. A refreshing locally styled IPA. Another small Washington brewery that I suspect we got to try in Seattle because of a burst of canning locally due to Covid. A small silver lining to the virus invasion.

16 oz, served in a style of glass I don't know the name of. Poured a cloudy dark yellow color, with 3/4 inch of just off-white head that had very good retention, and good lacing.
The aroma led off with fruity and floral hops, with a light grain base.
The flavor profile was very similar, with the addition of a touch of bitterness that kept things interesting.
The body was an expected light-medium and had a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was fine, no issues, and was pretty much what I expected. Overall, a nice enough brew for a first beer, and I'm sure they'll get the recipe dialed in as they progress.
