Incredibly challenging to brew a lager with real ingredients - micro brews with this crispness and clarity are a rarity - it took Deschutes (with some of the best water in the world) several decades to get anything close to this. As an avid beer-drinker, I was impressed with this brew from the first sip to the final swill. If you’re looking for a proper lager, this is worth a taste.

Served in .5l "Grand Master" glass. Poured a bright, clean, clear, shiny gold color color with an inch and-a-half of white head that had good retention and and OK lacing.
The aroma featured solid, but not heavy, grains, and bright floral hops.
The flavor profile was very similar, just brighter, and the very good carbonation of the beer helped keep things lively.
The body was very nice; crisp and smooth, with a pleasingly dry finish.
Drinkability was very good, you could easily drain a couple pints of this brew.
Overall, a very nice take on the style. Worth trying if you see it.
