Served in one of those odd glasses that I don't know the name of. Poured a Clean, clear brown color with 1/2 inch of tan head that had low retention and lacing.
Lots of malts in the nose, some sweetness, a bit of spiciness, and a whiff of alcohol.
Pretty much the same on the tongue; sweet malts, a hit of spice, and a noticeable alcohol heat.
Drinkability was good, although the alcohol heat at the finish tended to linger a bit.
Overall, a nice example of the style. Worth trying if you see it.
