Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 7/3/23.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: moderately sweet with a nice orange-and-grapefruit character; it's a bit rindey, and I like it.
Taste: like the aroma, moderately sweet with a nice orange-grapefruit character. There's a nice hit of bitterness at the end, too. Like a lot of single-hop IPAs, this kinda lacks a depth of flavor. I like the flavor that's here, but I feel like it could be rounded out with another variety to good effect.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: this is pretty successful as single-hop IPAs go. I could definitely see myself having a couple of these.
