Served in modified, knock-off perfect pint glass. Poured a very cloudy burnt orange color with a half-inch of white head that had low retention and lace.
The scent had a low malt base and a load of bright citrusy hops.
Same on the tongue, with the hops showing through even stronger.
The body was fairly typical for the style, medium-ish, mostly smooth with some coarseness, and had a dry finish.
Drinkability was good, an IPA you could drain a couple of.
Overall, a solid and enjoyable version of the style. Certainly worth trying if you see it.
