Dark golden-tinged brown with plenty of foam in the Timmermans goblet. Pleasant sudsy mouthfeel that bouys up the thick brew. Deep flavors of caramel and dark roasted grain. Also a green leafy hop taste with pears. There's an interesting fragrance of fruit like pear and peach. Not overly sweet and the aftertaste is quite bitter. This is a complex brew that is hoppier than the typical Scotch Ale. From the 16 oz can purchased at the Community Co-op.
