Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy, medium golden amber with a fine, one finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus and fruit hops, grapefruit, lemon and mixed fruit; a little dankness. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and dank hops, grapefruit, overripe mixed fruit and green melon; a little catty dankness in the finish with some earthiness and nice bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess, nice mouth feel. Lots of Cascade influence on the hop bill with lighter fruit notes from the Simcoe; somewhat muddled. Nice finish. Aroma a little subdued for a fresh hop, but good herbal flavor.
