Inspired by our member-owners who helped roast pecans for our first commercial batch in 2018, this medium-bodied porter has a smooth mouthfeel that compliments notes of coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, and of course, nuts. It stays balanced, allowing you to enjoy a pint or two on its own or paired with a hearty meal.

Natural smell and taste of roasted pecans, not artificial at all. This beer captures the natural esssence well. Brownish black with tan foam, spotty lace. Lighter side of medium bodied. Drinkable and flavorful, not sweet.

Poured into shaker pint. Not much head. No lace either. Cola color.

Sweet roasted nose.

Taste is roasted nuts, sweet malt, dark chocolate.

Feel is a little greasy. Low to medium carb.

Deliciousness from Wisconsin's first brewing co-op. Satisfying as a porter and as a dark nutty beer.
