Had this at Savini's Pomodoro restaurant in Woonsocket, RI. This is from the Lops website: Heaps of chocolate malt and Pawtucket’s New Harvest Coffee Roasters Classic Espresso ups the flavor profile on this classic style. Contains lactose. ABV reported at 7.0%
I thought it had a wonderful smell and look. Mouth feel was medium, not watery. I was hit with the chocolate very first thing. After a few minutes the coffee took command. Overall, I would have this often, it was very good.

A 13-oz. pour at the brewery. Fizzy, short-lived khaki foam. Many small spots of lace.
Opaque earthy dark brown, a little lighter than black coffee.
Big smell of fresh brewed coffee and fresh roasted beans, balanced by roasted malts.
Coffee first, the middle of the taste has semi-sweet spiced pears and apple, caramel malt and a confectionery candy sweetness. Uniformly semi-sweet and moderately bitter, the finish is long yet smooth. The aftertaste lingers and is on the bitter side and semi-dry.
Medium-light body, below average carbonation. Alcohol and hops are almost undetectable,
Nice balance of malty sweetness and coffee bitterness. Smooth and straight forward.
Needed more CO2, maybe its the tap system.
