A 13-oz. pour at the brewery. Off-white soft foam with average retention and irregular spots of lace. Strange brown-ish pineapple color, turbid and opaque.
Bold citrus hops great the nose with pale malt, rising bread dough and light toast.
The taste is semi-dry then builds to full dry, average bitterness from hops. The citrus flavor is broken into pineapple and lemon and is very juicy. A funky sour grassy hop and juice combination haunts the middle of the taste. Light malt almost brings some sweetness. The finish is quick and clean and dries fast, a spicy hop aftertaste lingers.
Light body, below average carbonation. Juicy and smooth, alcohol is discreet.
Session-able easy drinker. A New England style APA all the way.
