A moderate pour from a 16-oz. can was needed to reach a finger of off-white fizzy foam with short retention and broken rings of lace. Orange-straw color, cloudy and translucent.
Mostly orange juice greets the nose with lemon and grapefruit, crackery pale malt and spicy/floral hops in the rear. These items follow to the taste.
Semi-sweet with average bitterness, juice and malt taste are well blended. Alcohol is hidden until it warms a bit, bready malt replaces crackers as spice and bitterness rise to above average. The finish is long with a mild astringency, the spicy/bitter aftertaste lingers a while.
Medium light body with reserved carbonation, juicy and session-able.
Not murky or to sweet, smooth and sort of clean.
