A 12-oz pour at the brewery. Deep and clear orange-amber body with a soapy white head.
Bold smell of toasted grains and citrus hops greets the nose, bready malt and piney hops in the background.
Semi-dry with high bitterness, hop flavor is a bit juicy. A slightly astringent yet pleasing and warming alcohol bite appears. The finish is drawn out, malt flavor drops off first with bitter hops lingering for a while.
Medium bodied with plentiful carbonation, boldly flavored and almost smooth. Somewhat balanced.
