1st review on BA. I wasn't keen on making this part of our flight, but she wanted something geared more to her and that's only fair given that all of the other choices were ipas or stout. Pours a red/amber color, leans on the thinner side appearance wise, 1/4" off white head. Aroma was largely mute, didn't get a heavy amount of hops or malt really, just that feint Killian's type of depth.
Taste, eh, underhopped, lacking malt, this is like a light amber ale. Shit even undercarbed. Needs more of everything basically. But it is smooth. It isn't one of those hefty red ales with tons of Chinook hops. Its like Killian's meets Newcastle. So while it has no off flavors, its main drawback is the lack of flavor. Date liked it though, so I think this is another one of those beers for people who don't like hoppy, bitter, sour, thick or roasty beer. Has its place in the world.
