Pours an iced tea color with a wispy beige head that settles into a light ring.
The aroma is has some metallic notes and a bit of lemon.
The taste is of a brown bread, slightly toasted. Some metallic notes and a bitter lemon peel. Light brown sugar sweetness.
The feel is light to moderate on the palate, nice fizzy carbonation. Slight bitter aftertaste. A bit sticky on the lips.
Props to Secatogue for doing a style that nobody does anymore. I would like a touch more sweetness to counteract the metallic bitterness.

Somewhat of a brick red cross between dark amber and light brown. Good clarity with a light khaki head. Very full, creamy and great retention.
Earth, dried husk, light caramel and Granny Smith apple.
Medium body with more crispness and fairly high carbonation for style.
Raw chestnut...heavy herbal hoppiness. Dark chocolate bittersweet malt. Plum skins, grainy and toasted knackerbrod with little residual sweetness. Light on the esters. Long, bitter finish with sulphuric and metallic attributes.
Great stylistic elements that shine thru like the sun on a partly cloudy day, hidden by the bitterness and carbonation. Potentially outstanding.
