473ml can poured into tulip.
Pours a clear brassy amber with one finger of off-white head that leaves sheets of desert mesa lace as it recedes.
Smells of orange and grapefruit zest, crisp caramel malt, flowery summer garden, sticky pine and softly woodsy earth.
Tastes of more sappy pine and juicy muddled citrus, sweet bread crust, more floral leafiness and more earthy, piney hops.
Feels soft and creamy. Medium bodied with fluffy carbonation. Finishes dry.
Verdict: Recommended. A hot weather beer for sure, and a pretty good first effort from a new brewery.

This is the first brew from this very new brewery to make its presence in the Calgary craft beer scene.
Appearance - Pours a clear amber with three fingers of of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus, earthy, leafy, floral, and hint of piney hops, bready malts, caramel, citrus fruits, hint of hay, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus, earthy, leafy, floral, and hint of piney hops upfront. The bready malts, caramel, citrus fruits and hint of hay follow suit. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and malts lingering.
Overall - A pleasant first offering from this new Cowtown brewery. Certain elements of this APA were done on point. I wish the hops had more of a presence but it was still an enjoyable brew. Welcome to the mass amounts of craft breweries here in Calgary.
