Poured from a cork'n'cage bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Burgundy/copper pour... opaque, with 2 fingers of off-white head. Leaves nice lacing.
S: Cherry and Belgian candy sugars. Dark fruit.
T.F: Semi-sweet... caramel and brown sugar. Loads of cherry flavor... baked raisin, yeast, and fig. Medium bodied... hides the ABV. Smooth and sticky on the tongue. More complex Belgian sugars and cherry to finish.
O: Well done for the style, and I liked the cherry notes on top of the sweeter Belgian dark. Quality brew.
