Bursting with tropical fruit juice with more than twelve pounds per barrel of Pineapple and Pink Guava puree, its high effervescence and tangy bite make for a perfect summer treat. Johnny Flipflops is our tribute to the man himself: punk rock road warrior, coconut rum enthusiast, wash tub bassist, father, husband, animal rights activist. 5% of profits from Johnny Flipflops go to animal welfare organizations.

This canned grabbed my attention with it's interesting art, and having guava in a sour sounds good. Reading the can, I saw that they donate 5% of their profit on this beer to animal welfare organizations, that's dope!
Pours a murky yellow gold with a short lived, 1 finger high bubbly white head that leaves a very thin ring, not much lacing
Wow that's a lot of lactic tartness in the aroma, really clean and fruity. I'm picking up lime, guava, peach, and pineapple, just a stellar nose here
As suggested by the aroma, this is tart as hell. The front end of the sip is just a total onslaught of tartness and tropical fruits, nothing too distinct, but the back end of the sip is all pineapple, feels very fresh and juicy
Light bodied and quite soft, this has killer carbonation that only adds to the sour factor, the kinda that rips up your tongue but keeps you coming back for more. This finishes just short of completely dry, just a touch of stickiness
Ok, we have a winner with this one! The true start to my American Craft Beer Week right here, this is incredible. A simply fruited sour with tons of character and acidity, and it's in perfect season. The only slight downside is the $4 price tag, but I can justify it, will get more and explore this brewery for sure
