On-tap 12/4/2021 at Back 40 in North Kingstown, RI, served in a US tumbler glass.
A: The beer is a bright golden brown color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, nuts, maple and some hops.
T: The taste starts out bready with hearty malt character up front and flavors of nuts and maple syrup. Then a strong but not over-powering floral hops bitterness comes in and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Smooth and crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down very easily, not slightly filling, mild kick, very good hybrid of styles. This is a solid beer to drink for a while if you’re in the mood for a combination of Pale Ale & Brown Ale.
