Light beige, creamy head. Nearly opaque, dark brown, with a teeny bit of a caramel tint, at the bottom of the glass, for the appearance. Not harsh, very dark roasted grain aroma, with a little bit of nearly burnt, caramelized barley malt, in the background. Moderate body. Quite mellow, dark roasted grain taste, with just barely a hint of medium roasted wood note, in behind.
