Medium hop haze with a creamy mouthfeel. Tropical fruits and citrus leap out of the glass, low yet cleansing bitterness enhances drinkability.

Purchased at Ocean Grove Cellars in Ocean Grove in March 2025. Drunk in June of that year.
L: Thick, old-pineapple-juice yellow, with a very thin lacing of head around the rim and atop the beer. I can't see any carbonation in the glass.
S: The nose instantly reminded me of the Cottee's Tropical Cordial my mum would buy when I was a young fella. It's zesty, citrusy and pineappley. Quite enticing!
T: The taste is pineapple and citrus, leaning towards grapefruit zestiness. Bitterness is medium to high, and hits very early in the swallow before vanishing as quickly as it appeared. The finish is abrupt, accentuated by the high carbonation and zesty taste profile.
M: Carbonation is high, and it kicks like a mule on the swallow, all of which adds to the zestiness of the beer. The body is full but hard to parse under the knife-like carbonation.
O: The taste profile on this one is quite nice, but the finish is sharp and, literally, very prickly. Towards the end, I began to focus on that aspect more than the taste profile, and it impacted my overall enjoyment of the beer.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
