Mango, raspberry and guava lead the charge with Skyfarm pineapple terpenes and a big ol’ whack of vanilla and milk sugar bringing the sweetness and fruit smoothie vibes.

Purchased at Ocean Grove Cellars in February 2025 and drunk in July that year.
L: Opaque, deep orange with utterly no head. It looks like a glass of orange juice.
S: It smells like mango punch and tropical fruit juice combined, but not at all like a beer. That said, it's being marked as a smoothie sour, and so is very much to style.
T: Very over-the-top mango and orange, like an orange-flavoured vitamin C tablet. Also big hits of pineapple and guava, but the mango flavour rides roughshod over the others. A mild tartness gives the beer a refreshing finish and compels me to immediately follow each sip with another.
M: The body is a little thin, and the high carbonation further exacerbates that.
O: This is a smoothie sour, so I didn't expect it to taste like a beer, but this tastes so utterly unlike beer that you could fool people into thinking they were drinking a cocktail. Maybe that makes it the ultimate gateway beer!
