This one pours a very clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells lemony, with some breadiness, and spicy hops.
I think I like the regular “Pure” a little bit more, but this still pretty wonderful. It’s well balanced, with a nice snap of hop character – floral, mostly, with no real sweetness and a nice crisp crackery and bready malt character.
This is light bodied, and very drinkable.
Counterpart clearly does lagers very well, and that is certainly why they are very much now on my radar.
