WCIPA on tap at the Brain. Served cold into a pint glass. Review from notes.
Appearance - Hazy, yellowy orange brew with small half finger of foamy white head. Minimal head retention and next to no lacing leaving behind a small collar.
Smell - Plenty of fruit with mango and guava aromas leading the charge.
Taste - Unique mango/guava combo with some grapefruit bitterness filing in the gaps. Medium bitterness overall with a bready backbone. Increasing bitterness upon repeated sips.
Mouthfeel - Lower than average carbonation, fairly full body and a very dry finish.
Overall - Solid WCIPA that improves the more you drink of it, really laying into the bitterness as you go. A worthy tipple with a couple extra points of ABV.
