Pours a large frothy creamy 2 finger dense tan head with great retention, sticky lacing, very dark basically black color
Nose rousted dark stout-like malt, dried cocoa, a bit of roasted coffee, dark chocolate covered coconut, hint of caramel
Taste brings more dark malts, roasted malt up front but not heavy, coffee, into dark chocolate, cocoa powder, little nougat and caramel, then toasted coconut, dark chocolate coconut candy bar, light bitterness half from the roast and half with a mild spicy hop, finish dries a bit and gets to a med spicy hop bitterness, lingering mild roast and chocolate coconut
Mouth is fuller bod, a bit creamy rich, med to a bit higher frothy carb, very light alcohol warmth
Overall solid, coconut is there without getting overbearing or fake tasting, not overly sweet thankfully, nice base robust porter
