Medium golden in color with a non-over powering aroma. Lagared on a Czech yeast, dry-hopped. This beer feels soft on the palette like a Bohemian Style Pilsener, with a pleasant flavor. Just a slight bitterness in the after taste.

On tap at the brewpub in Grants Pass OR.

Pour was very pale golden, clear with a plenty of visible carbonation, a decent head and limited lacing.`

Aroma: lightly sweet baked bread.

Flavor: mild noble hops become less obvious in the finish and aftertaste.

Feel: lively carbonation goes well with the light+ body. Semi-dry.

O: decent version of style but not quite up to Czech standards. .

Picked up a mixed 6-pack at the brewery in Grants Pass... Poured this one into my HotD goblet. Thin white head.. the brew is clear golden.

Malty and a touch of Continental hops... no real bitterness on the nose.

Flavor has some background vegetal flavors.. minor hoppiness and no real bitter bite..

Body is bigger than should be ... carbonation is lite.

Meh... Not "crisp" enough. Very average at best.

Served at Wild River Pub in nonic pint glass. Menu lists ABV as 5.19%.

Clear golden pour with one finger head and minimal lacing.

Initially mild to medium malt taste, givng way to cedar aftertaste.

Slippery, almost soapy mouth feel-thinner than expected.

22 oz bomber,

Wow, thats a pretty weak head. Very low carbonation. Color is kind of a hazy yellow.

Aroma is malty, but hard to detect that saaz hop aroma like a true bohemian pils.

Taste is heavy on the caramel malt. And with a syrupy mouthfeel, probably due to low of carbonation, this feels more like a blonde bock than a pils. There is a nice spicy hop finish however.

Taste is pretty good in general and I really like to hoppy finish but I have to say this is not quite what I expected, tastes a little to sweet for a pils and low carbonation really throws off the feel for me.

From a 22 on bottle that says “A Pivo For Grandpa Kubin” and has a photo of him on the label. Poured a very clear golden yellow with a small white head the settled quickly and left moderate lacing. A steady stream of tiny bubbles rose from the bottom of my glass, kind of like champagne. Nose is malty and a bit musty. Mouthfeel is relatively rich, and kind of coats your tongue. Flavor was very malty and has some fruity hops in the finish. Overall a very nice Bohemian Style Pilsner that was quite drinkable and reminded me very much of the beers I got in Germany and Prague last year.

Dry hopped with Saaz hops, Wild River’s Bohemian Pilsener has a strange but pleasing echo of raspberry in both the aroma and taste. It is bright lemon yellow, mostly clear, and offers a bare minimal stream of carbonation feeding a casual islet of white head. The taste is of yeast on malts with a surprisingly restrained hop profile.
