Ex Novo Brewing

 

When we and our friends went to this brewery, they had a location in N Portland, and we went there on a Saturday evening early. Parking was limited. The location was fairly small, and it was almost full. Beers were really good and so was service. Overall good experience.

Interesting roadside campus with small adobe taproom in front, large production brewery in the back, and a small storage container bar along the side with picnic area. Additional small containers provide covered seating about the property also wood fired pizza truck in parking lot. I only visited the picnic bar area, so don't know what the inside of the taproom was like. 16 beers on tap, I enjoyed the Mass Ascension. Did not try the food.

This is an update (Feb, 2022) to an earlier review. I really like the fact the Ex Novo keeps working to improve their beers and their brand. Thank you, I will continue to try and enjoy your beers, keep up the good work.

Smallish brewery tasting room in Corrales. I say "smallish" because a lot of NM breweries are also full-blown restaurants but this place focuses in beer and as such, needs less space. Decent amount of indoor seating but appeared to be more outdoors. I visited in July so AC was a must; warmer months will make the outdoor area a bit tough. Good selection and mix of styles, friendly service and good quality beer.
