Smaller beige head even with a vigorous pour. Leaves a decent amount of lace mostly in the form of runny spots. The liquid is dark brown and no light passes.
Dark Baker's chocolate smell with a touch of coffee. I get some deeply toasted biscuit notes. The aroma is like a dark chocolate cookie.
Thinner body, particularly for a Porter. Elevated carbonation. The flavor features some definitive coconut with a thinner unsweetened cocoa. Again, there's plenty of biscuit to the tongue, similar to a graham cracker, but not nearly as sweet. The finish is Baker's chocolate bitter, but no coffee flavors. Shorter aftertaste.
