16 oz can from Brewers Haven. Pours out like grapefruit juice. Grapefruit peel in the aroma and taste, light biscuit malts, some gentle dry, hoppiness. Very juicy, sweet.

Aroma is fruit/citrus, malts and pungent hops. The flavor is citrus/fruit, malts, a hint of tea, mild tropical fruit and a slightly sweet/hoppy finish.

Poured from 16oz can into a tulip. No clear packaging date on can.

Appearance: light golden hue with a moderately hazy body. Head is a thick finger of frothy eggshell foam; it's quite pretty.

Smell: a light orangey aroma that's both fruity and pithy. There's a dry, herbal element to the hops here as well, and even the tiniest hint of sourness, that for me don't work super well with the orange. Not bad, but not perfect.

Taste: orangey and herbal flavors, as well as a little grapefruit. That same slightly sourish, sharp character from the aroma is also coming through -- I noticed this in Silent Rejoice as well. Maybe not quite as bad as in that beer, but it's still here.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess for the style.

Overall: this beer has a pretty good overall character; it's got fruity hops and a relatively sweet malt base that are hallmarks of the style. Get rid of that one weird off flavor, and this would be a great beer indeed.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 9/2019. Pours very hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, white grape/wine, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, white grape/wine, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, white grape/wine, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and sticky/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%, with no lingering hop burn after the finish. Overall this is an excellent NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Nicely soft and not aggressive. Feels like a lot of Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin. Very vibrant, and fairly juicy/dank/earthy hops; with a great clean wheat/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example as expected. No complaints.

A: The beer is very hazy light yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a small patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of lemon and tangerine citrus are present in the nose.
T: The taste starts out with citrusy flavors of lemons and tangerines and has additional flavors of mangos but finishes with notes of spicy hops, the latter of which lend a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, juicy, and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer isn't nearly as juicy and fruity compared to other New England IPAs (particularly with the spicy hops and bitterness in taste) but is still very well hopped and has interesting aromas and flavors.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a yellow / orange color and a super cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.

S: A solid aroma of hops, citrus fruit, malt, a slightly grassy quality, and some tropical fruit.

T: Tasted of small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a light grassy quality (hangs around the edges), a little melon, some citrus fruit (tangerine, in particular), a below average amount of hops, and some tropical fruit (mango). This is a focused, well-balanced, and light flavor. Not as sweet and fruity as most NE IPAs, but still tasty.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a smooth, creamy finish. Medium-bodied.

O: In general, this is a well done, easy to drink beer. Worth a look.

No canned on date.

Nice opaque golden pour, about an inch of rising, frothy head without too much residual lace.

Sweet malt, tangerine nose, with underripe mango and mildly earthy hops serving the backbone. It smells a bit like it might have a month of age on it, but as it warms it really opens up nicely.

Tons of citrus on the palate; orange really stands out. Lightly bitter, with hops showcasing more as it warms but not overpowering in any way. Grassy and earthy predominance, with subtle undertones of mango and tangerine. Citrus mellows further as it warms , and the hops really come out nicely.

Smooth, soft, low carb. Drinks nicely and even better as it warms. Not too much residual stickiness; crushable for the 7% ABV.

Poured a golden-orange body with minimal head and lace patches. Aroma contains notes of both citric, floral hops and some tropical fruits as well. Smooth, fuller body, no bitterness at all as I basically get a tropical fruit sweetness. Overall, the beer is a tad one-note but still enjoyable as it's basically tropical fruit flavored with clean finish.
