Pours a hazy orange with thick, firm head.
Smell is fruity and mineral with notes of citrus and pineapple.
Taste is fruity and hoppy, with a fairly strong perfumey note. Some citrus, melon and nectarine, with a bit of hop burn and a slightly astringent minerality.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a decent beer, but the perfume and minerality drags it down for me.

Public Access Liquids "Outer Reality"
1 pint can contract brewed at Dorchester Brewing Co. in Boston, MA and coded"PAOS2-AI"
$5.99 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a cloudy yellow gold body beneath a fluffy head of white foam. The aroma is brightly floral, softly fruity, and a bit candy-ish with a touchy of woodiness and pine. I'm finding berries and citrus that's like a blend of orange, lemon, and grapefruit. It's not a very bright aroma given that it's double dry hopped, but it's OK. The flavor isn't nearly as sweet as I thought it would be, and a firm bitterness runs through it leading to a dry finish. That probably accentuates your perception of the pine as it seems much fuller than it did in the aroma. I'm mainly getting a pine, floral, orange, and mango blend now with just a hint of the berries that I found in the aroma. If I had to hazard a guess on the hops here I'd go with Mosaic, El Dorado, and Chinook. Maybe Simcoe as well. It's interesting, but it's really not for me. It leaves a lingering flavor that's a little too much like bath soap for my tastes. In the mouth it's light-medium in body but it feels a little fuller than that because of all of the extra proteins. It's gently crisp, and then smooth. Looking back the head held up nicely and it's left some very nice lacing throughout the glass. Overall it checks all of the boxes for a New England style IPA, and kind of straddles the fence between the more "juicy" takes and the more "herbal/piney/dank" ones.
