Seriously cloudy yellowish brew with a modest foam in the Maredsous goblet. Pleasant aroma of lemon and orange. Taste is highly acidic pineapple. I don't get the appeal. It's just a lovely aroma but you can't drink that.
It seems like the common trait with these "new england" brews is the scratchy, gunky sensation in the back of the throat. Maybe it's all the raw grain, but I don't like it. A shot of this would make a nice depth charge for a tall boy of lager, but who has those around any more? From the beer store in the far Northwest.

Didn't see any dates just some stamping reading "PAED1-AI."
Not sure what that means.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice thick burnt orange color with a small cap of a little white foamy head. Some concave lace.
The aroma was very nice. Large amounts of orange rind propel themselves into some grapefruit and white pepper. Light grassy hops on the back end.
The flavor leaned into a somewhat larger than normal bitter juiciness throttling the orange and grapefruit further back. No aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps touch under with appropriate low key carbonation for a New England styled IPA. Some lingering grassy bitterness controls the finish, some dryness.
Overall, honestly, I'm not exactly sure what this brewer was going for and I'm not sure if this would be one to come back to, maybe. Does have the look of more of a New England styled one.

From the bottom rim of the can: "PAED1-AI"
Appearance: The body is opaque and light straw yellow colored. The head is short, fluffy, and white with mild retention. Some lacing.
Aroma: There is an aroma of alcohol, a light bit of nondescript citrus, and a hint of cooked cabbage.
Taste: It tastes grassy up front with a slight arugula flavor in the middle. It finishes with a bitter pine and grapefruit pith flavor.
Mouthfeel: It is light bodied with a medium bitterness.
Overall: It wasn't a very enjoyable beer to drink, but it is still a beer one could finish. The flavors and aromas just weren't great so I wouldn't recommend it or drink it again. It felt below average.
