Poured from a 12 oz. can into a pilsner glass. Disappearing head with some lacing. The scent had pleasant grain tones. Very good tasting ale that had a lemony/citrus taste. Very light and refreshing , but I would consider this a summer beer, perfect for after cutting the grass. The date on the bottom of the can was expired, but still good tasting.

I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from the brewery whilst driving from Mt. Vernon, IL to Yorkville, IL. It poured a clear golden with white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had sharp grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base and grain with slight bitter citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.
