Knox County seemed to be more of a locals spot, it was crowded on a weekend afternoon, with larger groups hanging out. It felt smaller inside with some couches and tables, games, etc. Storage in the back area by the restrooms seemed to indicate limited space. Smells of popcorn & butter wafted through the air. I think they had a BBQ caterer available as well serving food.
There is a service counter past the tiny brewery on the right, with beers listed on clipped paper signs, with style and abv in large, easy-to-read print. The only thing is they are really high up, so you crane your neck up at the counter. Service was timely, they seemed to have the whole family working there.
Beer selection was ambitious with rare styles like Grodziskie, Norwegian Farmhouse Ale, Kentucky Common, Old English Ale, and modern styles like milkshake IPA and classics like Saison, Mexican Lager and Schlafly Pumpkin as a guest tap. Quality was ok, some of the beers had a muddled quality that made them all seem similar. The saison was fairly distinctive with a dry peppery spice. I had a flight of four and I think they offered cans to go but I didn't see any. Overall it's worth a look if in Galesburg.
