Clear and sudsy amber brew in the Weizen glass. Faint aroma of melon with some cardboard. It's actually quite gulpable, but so weirdly anemic in flavor. Ah, the faded hops. After some sips, I look at the date on the bottom of the 16 oz can, which is Sept 22, 2023, so look before you buy at Mar Vista Liquor in Cardiff. I would give Carlsbad another chance with fresh stuff.
