12oz can served in a shaker pint glass. No date on the can.
Appearance: Mostly clear golden yellow with a thin white head and some strands of persistent lacing.
Smell: Bit of noble hops (herbal, earthy), and a hint of citrus, but not much else.
Taste: Hops are more American in style - with some citrus and pine at the start and finish. Cracker-like malt just barely there in the middle. This is a lot more like an APA in taste and style.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, slick, sticky on the teeth, and a bit of a wet finish. Definitely more like an APA.
Overall / Drinkability: Not bad, but not a Euro Pale Lager. Okay by itself, and I think it would go well with food like an APA would. If I were to rate this is an APA, it's be middle-of-the-road, but as a Euro Pale Lager it's completely off style.
